As part of our Ochiltree topic, P5\/6 and P6\/7 have been learning about mining in the local area. \u00a0We have been looking closely at the Barony and Killoch pits and learning about what life was like as a miner. \u00a0We are incredibly lucky to have our very own Mr Renton as a primary source who spent a few years working in the Barony. \u00a0Mr Renton took to the hot seat to share his experiences of life down the pit with the pupils. \u00a0Thanks again Mr Renton – we especially loved all of your gruesome tales!<\/p>\n
