All pupils will be taking part in Workshops being run by Archaeology Scotland on the following dates:

• Wednesday 18^th,
• Thursday 19^th,
• Friday 20^th and,
• Monday 23^rd March 2026.

The ‘Local Visits’ consent form completed by all parents / carers at the beginning of this academic year will be used for these activities, so no additional consent form is required.

Please ensure that your child has suitable waterproof clothing and footwear for these activities.

It is intended that pupils dig test pits on Thursday 19^th March; old clothing is advised as pupils are likely to get muddy / dirty.

Please complete the attached photographic, film and audio consent form from Archaeology Scotland and return it to the school office as soon as possible, as workshops begin on Wednesday. Thank you to everyone who has returned these already.
