This week we celebrated Book Week Scotland with lots of activities around reading and books.
On Monday we spent some time with our friends from P5/6 who read story books to us. We had a great time and really enjoyed hearing a story read to us by someone other than Mrs Kane! We also started to illustrate our own book, watched an authors live interview and did a book swap!
Our activities this week supported our learning in maths (addition and subtraction) and literacy (writing and sequencing instructions). We also followed instructions by using cubes to build pictures and practised fine motor skills. Everyone enjoyed our free choice writing activities as always.
The weather was awful on Friday so we had to stay inside and do our buddy activities in the classroom. We still had a great time!
