Hello,
This week we are back to “normal” with literacy and maths homework for everyone. Please continue to practise our poem and song, however, the class has been absolutely brilliant performing it so far. We had a few brave volunteers performing the poem to the class and they blew me away!
Primary 1
We have now learned all of our single sounds and are moving on to learning phonemes now. Our first phoneme sound is <sh>. Please complete the page in the blue spelling jotter. We will be doing our first spell check with the given 5 words next Monday. Children should therefore practise these words in particular but can draw a picture of any other <sh> word they can think of.
For maths, please complete the Home Activity sheet. We are practising to add up to 10 with doubles and near doubles.
Primary 2
We are learning the <ou> sound this week. Pupils have a new green jotter with our spelling activity for the week.
We are looking at subtracting from 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 this week. Please complete the Home Activity sheet.
Our gym days for this term have changed and are now Wednesdays and Thursdays. We are doing gymnastics. Girls should therefore have their hair tied back please and no watches or jewellery should be worn for PE.
