It’s so nice to be back after our Christmas holidays and seeing all the boys and girls again. They have grown so much over just two weeks!
We have been so busy this week and have been working extra hard. In Literacy, P1s learned their last two letters “x” and “qu”. We made CVC words with them and practised writing the letters, too.
Primary 2s have been practising their new spelling sound <ow> in class this week since we are learning our Scottish poem and song for homework. We have been doing different activities to practise our spelling.
In PE, we have started practising our gymnastics skills. Our PE days are now Wednesdays and Thursdays with equipment being used on Wednesdays. We practise rolls, balances and jumps with mats on Thursdays.
We have also enjoyed our play activities in class this week. We read CVC words, added numbers, played rhyming words bingo and much more:
