 Education Endowment Foundation Mathematics

The EEF have carried out research and produced guidance papers with recommendations with a focus on improving mathematics from age 3 to 14.  These papers are worth reading and the recommendations provide a solid foundation for improvement planning.

LaSalle Education ran their first ever virtual conference on Saturday 20th June 2020, which was very well put together with high quality inputs from teachers across the UK.

White Rose Maths are provide a wealth of free resources, planning materials and professional development videos and training inputs.  There is an option to subscribe to their premium resources too for full access to all the resources they produce.

 

 Miss Radders – Free CPD padlet

Hannah Radders, a head of maths in Yorkshire has created a padlet pulling together links to free maths CPD.  This and her main Maths Planning Padlet are a great source of for maths professional development and as a source to support planning, learning, teaching and assessment.

Craig Barton hosts a number of leading maths educators in this series of podcasts including our very own Chris Smith.  These podcasts are excellent and provide a unique insight into how leading maths educators plan and design learning episodes.  The show notes for each episode lead to some great sources of inspiration.

  NCETM Podcast

These podcast provide insights across a range of numeracy and maths related topics.  They are worth a listen and are a good source of professional development.

 

       MathsAppeal Podcast
