Drama – The Plague of Eyam

Library Visit – Helpers needed!
Creative Minds Visit
A few weeks ago we were visited by Joe from the Creative Minds Team, who brought our Victorian topic alive through poetry and media studies! We made sound effects to accompany a poem and then looked at how different shots would have been filmed in the film version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

Light & Lenses
We have been learning about the properties of a lens, how light travels and what effect different lenses have on rays of light! We made our own lenses using water droplets, and used ray boxes to see what effect convex and concave lenses had on light.
