Febru-read!!! Reading Challenges for the month of February!!

To continue to promote a love of Reading for Enjoyment, we would like to invite our learners to take part in the Reading Challenge “NRPS Febru-read!!!” We have a challenge for P4-7 and a challenge for P1-3.  If your child would like to take part in a challenge, they can let their teacher know and they will be given a challenge sheet which will allow them to take part.  We will make time at our Personal Achievement Assemblies to celebrate learners who take part.

Scots Poem Auditions

Well done to everyone who auditioned.

You all did amazing and should be so proud of the hard work you put in to learn the poem.

You all made me so proud. It is not easy learning a poem and saying in in front of all of the P4’s!!

Mystery Readers…..

A massive thank you to our amazing Mystery Readers who joined us in class today to read some of our book of the week!

We loved listening to someone different reading a story and asking questions about their favourite books📔📕📖📘

Pointillism

We have been looking at the art technique of pointillism and have created our own 4 season tree.

I hope you loved the 2026 calendar we made to take home!

Celebration of Scots Language

Scots Language week is 19th January, in celebration 3 pupils from each class will be chosen to perform at a special assembly..

Primary 4’s Scots poem this year is A Dug, A Dug by Bill Keys

Please practise at home and we will be doing lots of different work around the poem and Scots language in general in class
