We did some role play today in IDL.

P4 woke up in the body of a Viking.

Our job was to come up with our own play about ‘A Day in the Life of a Viking’

We had so much fun doing this!

Today we were researching information about The Vikings to create a fact file.

Did you know the name ‘Viking‘ means ‘a pirate raid’ in the Old Norse language

P4W and P4H teamed up and went outdoors to do some more maths fun for Maths Week Scotland.

Today we were exploring the playgroup to see what different shapes we could spot.

Maths Week Scotland

In todays numeracy lesson, we went out to the playground and used non- standard units (twigs, stones, leaves) to measure how tall we are.

We also measured how tall objects are in our playground.

This was part of our maths week fun!

Maths Week Scotland

Maths Week Scotland is finally here!!!

Maths Week Scotland 2025’s theme is Wild Maths. Encouraging exploration of nature and wildlife through activities like mapping animal migrations, identifying shapes outdoors, and creating art from natural materials.

Stay tuned to see what P4W get up to over the next few days….
