We have had a great first week back and although we have all been tired, we have made it to the end!<\/p>\n

We have been practising our Scots poem this week and there is fantastic progress already!<\/p>\n

Numeracy <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have been revising the 4 mathematical operations and it is good to see how many children could successfully remember how to do them all.<\/p>\n

Writing<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We are continuing with our writing programme and our focus is currently on punctuation.<\/p>\n

Art<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We have been looking at the art technique pointillism and have created our own 4 season trees (You might notice not all of the paint ended up on the paper…)<\/p>\n

2026 Resolutions<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We were looking at different new years resolutions (in both English and French) and were thinking about what we want to achieve this year. We have them displayed in class so we can remind ourselves of our goals.<\/p>\n
