Fond Farewell

As we say a fond farewell to our Primary 7s here is a final couple of pictures of them collecting their leavers gifts! No escaping pictures even on the last day, although some of you were to quick for me to capture 🙂 Good luck P7.

To all the boys and girls, well done for your super hard work this year! It has been an unusual year but one we will never forget! I hope you all have a lovely summer and the sun shines for you all!

3D Printer update

As you all know Newmilns PS offered to share the use of their 3D printer to help support the production of protective equipment for the NHS. Today we received this lovely thank you to all the schools and staff in East Ayrshire who were involved in helping with this project.  I am sure you will all agree that this is truly a great example of skills for life long learning and work, demonstrating the ways 3D printers can be used. 🙂

A Huge Thank you from all the staff at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

Due to your immense generosity and the support of your schools we have had over 6,000 visors donated which has allowed us to supply very grateful staff in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Dumfries & Galloway and even as far away as the Highlands & Islands. We have also supplied our visor design to a number of people from across Scotland who have been donating their visors to their local hospitals, care homes and GP practices.

Our unreserved thanks go to you, your staff and your pupils for donated visors and for the impact they have made protecting our front-line staff.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone that has contributed to this campaign in the fight to defeat this Covid-19 virus. We are forever indebted to you.

Thank you!
