As part of our ongoing improvement work this year we are looking to explore how we can further engage and involve families in their children’s learning. We would like to find out what types of things you would be interested in being involved in. We would appreciate if you could complete this short questionnaire to allow us to plan parental involvement and engagement activities that are tailored to your needs and wants.
Please note the questionnaire will close on the 31st January.

We will be holding our annual school Burns Poetry Competition and Supper on Monday 3rd February. All classes have now had their poems issued to practice at home and at school in preparation for this. Children will be invited to wear a touch of tartan on this day, however school uniform should still be worn.
The ECC will also be joining us for part of the afternoon and will sing a song with P1/2. They are also invited to wear a touch of tartan.
The parents/carers of Finalists will be invited to the Parent/Carer Performance on the afternoon of Tuesday 4th February, letters will be issued to the parents of the finalists once they have been selected nearer the time.
The Nature Squad have been working hard out in the Nature Trail behind the school. They are still looking for donations for their Bug Hotel. We have plenty of pallets now but are still looking for whole or broken garden pots(terracotta style) and loose bricks. We are hoping to create something similar to the picture below to make a nice habitat for the animals.
Loudoun pupils looked very comfortable this afternoon while enjoying their DVD and Pyjama Party.
Well done to the house captains for coming up with the idea and helping to organise a very successful party!
