The Kilmarnock Standard will be in school tomorrow (Friday 31st August) to photograph P1 year group.
We had a full house today in the school for our first day back! All children looked very smart in their new uniforms and our P1 children settled very well!
Primary 1 children can be collected at 2.45pm again tomorrow then 3pm on Wednesday and thereafter.
Our returning ECC children enjoyed one of our temporary rooms and the outdoor area today! We look forward to welcoming our August start 3 year old children tomorrow for their play and stay and for their first full day on Wednesday. As of Wednesday both indoor rooms will be in operation along with outdoors or children to enjoy.
We are looking forward to welcoming all of our children, old and new, at school on Monday 20th of August. Check the blog regularly for updates – have a look at the school information page if you are looking for general information, for example, school holiday information, lunch menus or the PE timetable (please note this is contained within the school information page not a separate tab within)
There will be some changes to entrance doors due to ECC decant arrangements. There will be staff in the playground to help with this.
ECC children will enter via what was the P1 door. The ECC door is not in use until after the expansion work is complete. We will keep you posted about the progress of things within the ECC page on the blog. Three year old children, eligible to start in August will start on Wednesday 22nd of August, we look forward to meeting you and your children at the Play and Stay on Tuesday 21st at 3.10 pm.
P1 parents can come into the class on the first morning – due to space we cannot accommodate more than two adults per child.
See you all on the 20th of August where we will begin a new session where we will “Believe and achieve, raise the bar and be the best we can be!”
