Sports Day

We had a very successful Sports Day, and the weather was on our side! The day was very well attended and the children certainly enjoyed having the support of the crowd! The Winning house for sports day will be announced soon!

All the children performed well and showed a great competitive spirit. However I think we know which race was our most competitive…

A big Thank You to all those who helped on the day with point scoring, helping at the finish line and all of the other jobs that go on behind the scenes. Thank You to Mr Aldridge, Rev. McGurk and Lynsey Hogg who all came along on the day to help out.

Walk to School Week

We had a very successful Walk to School Week which was helped greatly by the lovely Sunshine! Here are some of the boys and girls who had some very crazy hair indeed! Well done to all of those who took part!

Summer Safety

PC Davidson came to visit us at assembly this week where she shared her top tips for staying safe over the Summer months. She highlighted to the boys and girls the importance of learning their name and address and also suggested when going somewhere busy to agree a safe meeting place in case your group gets separated.

These were just some of the fantastic top summer safety tips and I am sure the boys and girls will share the rest with you at home!

Book Fair

Primary 1 certainly enjoyed having the book fair along. Here are some pictures of them enjoying a story and even doing some drama!

Thank you to all who came along to Parents Night and helped to support our Book Fair.

Model Village

At our recent Parents’ Night we were lucky enough to have P2/3’s fantastic model village on display. P2/3 were set the task for homework to create a model house as part of their topic. Once they were all brought together they worked hard to turn them into a model village. Well done to P2/3 and Mrs Cochrane! It was a fantastic piece of work!
