World Book Day

Although our World Book Day celebrations were slightly delayed due to the snow it did not stop us from having a great time! They were lots of fantastic costumes to be seen around the school. The boys and girls took part in various activities within their classrooms and there was even a real life ‘Where’s Wally’ activity for fun!  A big thank you to P6/7 for helping to organise ‘Where’s Wally’ and thank you to all of you at home for helping to make such wonderful costumes!

Dance Fest 2018

Again we have been lucky enough to have Dance Leaders from the academy working with our P5-7 pupils at Dance club. They have been selected to take part in Dance Fest on Wednesday 28th March at the Palace Theatre.  Letters have already been issued to those involved.

I am sure you will all join me in wishing them good luck in their performance. If anyone has not been able to get tickets for this event can you please let Mrs Young know via the school office.

Newmilns Activity Night

Newmilns PS and Active Schools are continuing their great partnership with another fantastic After School Club. This has been supported by Lynsey Hogg, Active Schools, our own School staff and some excellent HNC students from Ayrshire College.

The club has been a great success with  lots of pupils coming along to enjoy the various activities we have on offer!

Mrs Barrie will re-arrange the Tiger Group sensory play session once we are all back at school and nursery.
