CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection)

In this climate of potentially harmful online behaviours, we must offer our children and young people, staff, parents and carers as much guidance and support in the prevention and reporting of potential harmful incidents.  Please use the link below to find our more about this subject.

In addition, contact details for Childline are on this page for children and young people who are not necessarily ready to report abuse, but can anonymously contact Childline for support.

P7 Swimming Gala

Congratulations to the Primary 7 pupils who took part in the swimming gala at Loudoun Academy as part of their transition days. Glenn, Cameron, Zoe and Ailsa did a super job at demonstrating their swimming talents.

P5/6 Outdoor Afternoon

This afternoon p5/6 along with Miss Baldie and Mrs Neilson enjoyed the nice weather and took part in some outdoor activities along the nature trail close to the school. The children took part in a scavenger hunt to look at their natural environment and created fantastic transient art. We were really happy that the rain stayed off too! ☀️☺️ 🌲🌳🌸

Archaeological Dig

Some of our Primary 6 pupils had the chance this week to take part in an archaeological dig near the Bluebell Plantation. The children worked with staff from Archaeology Scotland, East Ayrshire Heritage and children from other local schools. They learned basic excavation techniques, important facts about their local area and more about the motte and Bailey castle ruins. A fantastic time was had by all!
