On Saturday we attended the Primary National Burns Competition, held at Clydeview Academy in Gourock.<\/div>\n
We had 2 entries in this competition, Daisy M was representing Ayrshire in the P1-3 verse speaking competition and our school choir was representing Ayrshire in the choral competition.<\/div>\n
I’m delighted to share that both Daisy and our school choir were awarded 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0place out of the whole of Scotland, competing against other regions such as Dumfries and Galloway, Lanarkshire, Fife, Edinburgh, Renfrewshire, Scottish Borders, Glasgow\u00a0 and Grampian.<\/div>\n
Our scores in the verse speaking competition also contributed to Ayrshire winning the trophy for best overall verse speaking category on the day too.<\/div>\n
