There are podcasts, videos and a variety of activities to access.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">This week, each class will be involved in designing a poster in line with the theme, &#8216;listen up&#8217;. As well as this, everyone will design their own bunting which will be collated in order to create a whole school display of unity.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: center\"><em><b>The campaign manifesto:<\/b><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: center\"><em>The impact of bullying can be profound and can have serious short and long term effects on the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of children and young people. We must be clear that bullying is a violation of children\u2019s rights.<\/em><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Children need to be protected from bullying behaviour so that they can survive, develop and participate in a fulfilling life. As adults, we all have an important role to play to help protect and fulfil these rights by creating opportunities for young people to participate in decision making on matters that affect them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>From teachers and professionals to parents and carers, we all have a responsibility to consider the needs of children and young people. We are calling on everyone to \u2018Listen Up!\u2019 and respect the rights of children and young people by putting children\u2019s\u00a0rights at the heart of all effective responses to bullying.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_elementToProof\" style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Across Scotland, we will be asking children and young people in schools, youth settings and at home, to engage with the campaign theme by taking part in our class-based lessons, through art, drama and dance, and through our new youth-led activities exploring themes of children\u2019s rights within the context of bullying and kindness.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week we will raise awareness of Anti-Bullying Week.
