People who suffer from nut allergies can develop a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction.<\/p>\n

If someone has a nut allergy it is not just eating nuts that can cause a severe reaction, just being touched on the skin or smelling the breath of someone who has had nuts or a product containing nuts can trigger an allergic reaction which can cause breathing and swallowing difficulties.<\/p>\n

Our school staff are trained to use Epi-pens (an injection of adrenalin) which are required immediately if this happens.<\/p>\n

We cannot have nuts in school in any form, so please do not put any nut products in your child\u2019s lunch box.<\/p>\n

The following items must not be included in children\u2019s packed lunches:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
