Parental Engagement

YIP World Food Share

On a Wednesday morning we receive a delivery of groceries from our partners at YIP World. These are offered free to anyone who can use them and are available to collect in the playground at home-time on a Wednesday. Look out for the crate on the picnic benches.

Parent Christmas Crafting

Our Parent’s Christmas Craft Group made some amazing things to sell at our Christmas Fayre.

Moo Club

Moo Club (named by the children after Mrs Bradford’s love of cows!) is a break time club for children who may find the playground challenging or prefer a quieter break time environment. At Moo Club we enjoy crafting and team games.

 Strong Connections – YIP World

Strong Connections is yipworld’s exciting new initiative, providing fun and interactive activities in communities throughout East Ayrshire for the whole family.

Activities such as family movie nights, joint cooking and baking classes, messy play, walking and cycling groups and more are designed to be engaging and accessible. Furthermore, our dedicated Careers Adviser is on hand to provide a host of support for parents and young people; from help finding and applying for jobs to advice and support with Universal Credit, we can ensure that you find the support you require.

A devoted Sports Development Worker provides a multitude of fun, family-friendly sports and health and wellbeing workshops. Staff are also trained in a variety of holistic therapies including Indian head massage, baby massage and Reiki to give families a chance to wind down after a busy day of school, work and housekeeping.

Reagan and Stacey run the New Cumnock Strong Connections group in New Cumnock Town Hall every Wednesday. Drop in any time between 2pm – 5pm to meet the girls and find out what the group is all about.

From new-born babies to gran and grandpa and everyone in between, everyone is welcome.

Coffee Morning

Our first coffee morning was a great success and enjoyed by all who managed to attend.  Carers and families are welcome to attend our 2nd one on Thursday 20th December when we can all enjoy a warm mince pie.
