They need to bring them on a Monday so they can stick their new words in or whatever day thereafter if they are absent on a Monday.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> I do not take in jotters to mark as there shouldn&#8217;t be an exchange of items from home due to covid. If your child is one who is managing\u00a0 these, then reinforce spelling with previous weeks spellings in order to practise retention.<\/li>\n<li>The children have been learning to measure using non standard units. This means they are using anything they can lift and use to guess and measure things &#8211; for example: how many cubes, paper clips, tins, hands long\/high\/wide do you think an object is?
