We are reading the story Grandpa’s Great Escape. In the story Grandpa was a WW2 Flying Ace, so we decided to make our own Spitfires.
We coloured our Spitfires then cut them out carefully.
What do you think of our finished Spitfires?
We were really pleased with them, now to try and see if they fly!

We created an acrostic poem and art work using fireworks as our theme. The boys worked together to write our poem and worked with chalk and black paper to make a vibrant fireworks picture.
In the Nurture room we have been focusing on how to be patient by playing games together, taking turns,
 building 
and ordering numbers.
We’ve been having fun with Halloween through our learning this week. We played a Trick or Treat rounding to the nearest 100 game, decorated biscuits, got messy with gloop, made stress balls and had fun with spooky spellings!

We are learning to round to the nearest 10. We played a game called rounding rockets!
We used bottle tops with phonemes on them to make words.
Harry and Alfie made a HUGE number line using Lego cards. They read 2 and 3 digit numbers.
