Nurture – Spelling
We used paint to create our spelling words this week. We were using the phoneme ‘oa’.
Nurture – Symbiot
Jackie wrote a story about The Symbiot. It was a lab experiment that went wrong . Spaceman Luke water got taken over like a symbiot and now he eats his crew but only the bodies. His tongue splits from his body and goes in search of the heads of his crew. The tongue has a mind of its own and when it fully matures the tongue goes to find the host aka Luke water. He only eats eyes so he can gain the power of sight he now grows spikes and a serpent shaped mouth with teeth as sharp as barbarian swords!!!

Nurture – Making WW2 Spitfires
We are reading the story Grandpa’s Great Escape. In the story Grandpa was a WW2 Flying Ace, so we decided to make our own Spitfires.
We coloured our Spitfires then cut them out carefully.
What do you think of our finished Spitfires?
We were really pleased with them, now to try and see if they fly!
Nurture – Origami Claws
Alfie used sheets of A4 paper and took his time to make a set of realistic looking claws, great job Alfie!
Alfie thought he looked like Edward Scissorhands!
Nurture – Fractions Games
Aidan and Jackie working on their own and then together to practise their fractions using different shapes and lots of examples of numerators and denominators. Great work boys! 🙂
Nurture – Fireworks poems and art
We created an acrostic poem and art work using fireworks as our theme. The boys worked together to write our poem and worked with chalk and black paper to make a vibrant fireworks picture.
Nurture – Autumn Days and Nights
Here the boys were creating an autumn themed picture using their knowledge of place value.
Here we looked at recipes and decided what we would like to put on our Bonfire Night Menu.
