{"id":338,"date":"2021-06-25T07:46:28","date_gmt":"2021-06-25T07:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/newcumnockmrsbradford\/?p=338"},"modified":"2021-06-25T07:46:28","modified_gmt":"2021-06-25T07:46:28","slug":"parental-employability-support-fund","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/newcumnockmrsbradford\/2021\/06\/25\/parental-employability-support-fund\/","title":{"rendered":"Parental Employability Support Fund"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_gd_p\" align=\"left\">The Parental Employability Support Fund<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>provides support to parents on low incomes who are looking for a job or who are currently in work and looking to progress.<\/p>\n<h3 align=\"left\">What help can I receive?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Person-centred help for parents to address their barriers to work, which might include a lack of skills or work experience, health support, money advice, confidence building or motivational support.<\/li>\n<li>Targeted support to help parents already in work through the provision of training and employability support to remain active in the workplace and gain progression through a rewarding career.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 align=\"left\">Am I eligible for this?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"x_appear\" align=\"left\">We are keen to support parents that meet the following criteria<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_appear\">lone parents<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_appear\">families with 3 or more children<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_appear\">families where the youngest child is under 1 year<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_appear\">families with a disabled parent or child<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_appear\">families where the parents are under 25 years<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_appear\">families from minority ethnic communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 align=\"left\">How can I apply or find out more?<\/h3>\n<p class=\"x_appear\" align=\"left\">For further information please contact Claire.McCormack@east-ayrshire.gov.uk &#8211; call\/text 07500071241.
