Welcome

Welcome to Netherthird Primary School and Early Childhood Centre. Our establishment prides itself on its welcoming, friendly environment and an ethos which promotes effective learning and personal development for each individual child.

We aim to enable all our young people to become successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors by:-

 Creating a positive ethos where each child has a sense of identity and is encouraged to be the best they can be.

 Fostering positive attitudes and helping pupils to become responsible citizens for life.

 Encouraging children to work together in an atmosphere of tolerance and respect.

 Delivering a broad, balanced curriculum through activities and experiences which show progression and continuity.

 Recognising and celebrating pupil successes and achievements both in school and in their own time beyond the school day.

In Netherthird Early Childhood and Family Centre we aim

 To provide a safe, caring, happy environment where children are given the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential.

 To work in close partnership with parents, children and the wider community.

 To providing the time and space to deal with private matters.

 To provide a stimulating and well balanced curriculum which provides appropriate learning experiences for all through play and encourages children to take the lead in their learning.  To be responsive to each child’s individual needs and treat each child with dignity and respect.

 To promote caring for others, positive attitudes and equal opportunities for lifelong learning.

 To ensure the pace and balance of the day meets the needs of children who attend nursery for more than the statutory time.
