Learning about Renewable Energy<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Local Wind Farms have been invited in with visits still to take place prior to the end of session when each class will receive an input to enable them to learn more about renewable energy.<\/p>\n

OnPath Energy consultation<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Our Clean Green Energy Team attended the local consultation with OnPath Energy in January to learn more about the latest Wind Farm proposal. The team were able to ask questions about the design and location of the proposed site. We were kindly gifted \u00a3300 from OnPath Energy to support us in our Clean Green journey.<\/p>\n

Sustainable Development Goals 7 & 11<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The Clean Green Energy Team explored SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and shared these findings at a whole school Get Together.<\/p>\n

Windy energy saving checklists<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Our Windy energy saving checklists were reviewed and updated. These are displayed in each room in the school and have been sent home with a version for use in the home. We plan to deliver a version for local businesses to display prior to the end of session.<\/p>\n
