‘Mucky Pup, Clean It Up’ campaign<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

More poo caddies have been made using recycled milk cartons and EAC free poo bags and placed around our local community in areas where children identified that dog mess was most prevalent (Glenafton Drive, Knockshinnoch Lagoons, footpath to the rear of the school along the flood defences.<\/p>\n

Growing our own produce<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The New Cumnock gardening group were a great source of contact is helping us choose what to spend our Tesco Grant money on to ensure we were equipped to begin growing our own produce. We are now growing a variety of vegetables in our school planters ranging from broad beans to carrots.<\/p>\n

Green Guardian award<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Our Clean Green Natural Environment team selected 3 embracing and 3 enriching nurture quests. As a whole school we were able to achieve this. Evidence is submitted separately.<\/p>\n

FitFest partnership – Green Health in New Cumnock<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Our Clean Green Natural Environment Team worked together with our school FitFest Ambassadors to create a Sway which detailed the green space we have available in New Cumnock and the benefits its brings to our mental and physical health. This was shared on our school communication platforms and was tied in to promote the FitFest event held in the community which was well attended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
