{"id":17483,"date":"2026-01-07T15:29:42","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T15:29:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/mountcarmelps2017\/?p=17483"},"modified":"2026-01-07T15:30:28","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T15:30:28","slug":"p1-august-2026-intake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/mountcarmelps2017\/2026\/01\/07\/p1-august-2026-intake\/","title":{"rendered":"P1 August 2026 Registration Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>P1 Registration<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>For children who turn age of 5 years between 1 March 2026 and 28 February 2027and whose parents and carers wish them to attend school should be registered for education during the week Monday 12 January 2026 until Friday 16 January 2026.\u00a0 To register you should complete an online application and submit no later than Friday 16 January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Register at: &#8211;\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" title=\"https:\/\/www.east-ayrshire.gov.uk\/schooladmissions\" href=\"https:\/\/www.east-ayrshire.gov.uk\/schooladmissions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\">https:\/\/www.east-ayrshire.gov.uk\/schooladmissions<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To register your child you will require to upload a copy of your child\u2019s birth certificate and two\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">proofs of your residence in the catchment area in the form of a Council Tax Notice or Utility Bill.\u00a0 Should<\/span>\u00a0you require a copy of your child\u2019s birth certificate for Registration, this can be obtained at<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u00a0<a style=\"color: #0000ff\" title=\"http:\/\/www.certificates.scot\" href=\"http:\/\/www.certificates.scot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"1\">www.certificates.scot<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are unable to register online then please phone your local school who will assist you to register your child.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><b>Placing Requests<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Parents and carers who wish to make a placing request must first enrol their child\/children at their catchment school.
