I would like\u00a0to\u00a0welcome\u00a0you\u00a0to\u00a0our\u00a0St<\/span>\u00a0Joseph’s\u00a0Academy<\/span>\u00a0community, I hope your young person has enjoyed the transition events so far and they are looking forward\u00a0to\u00a0the transition days which will take place on 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0May, 6th<\/sup>\u00a0June, 7th<\/sup>\u00a0June, 15th<\/sup>\u00a0June\u00a0and 23rd<\/sup> June 2023.\u00a0<\/strong> Pupils have received their timetables alongside other important documents which are required to be returned to St<\/span>\u00a0Joseph’s\u00a0Academy<\/span>.\u00a0 Documents which require to be returned will be collected on the22nd<\/sup>\u00a0May\u00a0during the first full induction day.<\/p>\n In preparation\u00a0for your child\u00a0st<\/span>arting at\u00a0St<\/span>\u00a0Joseph’s\u00a0Academy<\/span> in August I would encourage you to familiarise yourself with our school handbook: https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/stjosephsacademy\/uploads\/sites\/2043\/2023\/05\/16200807\/Handbook-May-2023.pdf<\/a><\/span><\/strong> Within this document you will find information<\/span>\u00a0on key members of\u00a0st<\/span>aff involved in your child’s education as well as our uniform policy, lunch portal and our assessment and reporting policy.<\/p>\n If you are eligible for Free School Meals, I would urge you\u00a0to\u00a0apply for this prior\u00a0to\u00a0st<\/span>arting at\u00a0St<\/span>\u00a0Joseph’s. Please also note that if you are eligible for Free School Meals, you then gain access\u00a0to\u00a0the school clothing grant.
