January is traditionally our time to celebrate Robert Burns and all things Scottish. As always we will be holding our Scots Poetry Competition in school. All pupils are expected to learn at least part, if not all of the verses and be prepared to say it in front of the class and teachers.<\/p>\n<p>P6 will be reciting the first few verses of Tam O&#8217;Shanter &#8211; they have been given a paper copy to bring home today, please take time to go over the poem with them and help them to learn it. I have attached a few video clips of different people reciting the poem to help, as well as a copy of the verses we do.
