P6 wrote letters inviting local shops to display our art work in their windows. The P7s went for a village walk and hand delivered the invitations. We waited for replies! Thank you to all the shops that gave us the thumbs up. Each teacher got to pick a shop from the hat and from there decided on what the children would create.

Our class was asked to design pictures to display in the window of the Castle Caf\u00e9. Mrs Harkiss decided that ice-cream sundaes would be a good idea. We designed and drew them and then we mounted them on a doily with our name. The Castle Caf\u00e9 is the oldest family run business in Mauchline, it was established in 1909 and is known for its home- made dairy ice cream.
\nEveryone in the class made a picture, we hope that you enjoy our pictures as much as the ice-cream!
