This year we are teaming up with the Night Before Christmas Campaign (charity number 47995) to provide gift boxes containing essential items and some Christmas treats for families in poverty.<\/p>\n<p>If you can help, we are looking for the following items:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Child box:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Pyjamas, hat, scarf and gloves, pants and socks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Age appropriate toy, i.e. teddy, doll, car, craft item, hair accessories or game<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">A book to read, colour or put stickers in<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Shampoo and shower gel<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Toothpaste and toothbrush<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Sweets<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Hot chocolate <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-12976 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/mauchlinepsandecc\/files\/2020\/11\/holly-pic.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"176\" height=\"130\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Adult box:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Hat, scarf, gloves and socks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Sanitary products<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Biscuits and sweets<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Shampoo, shower gel, hair gel, shaving foam, lip balm<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Toothbrush and toothpaste<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Brush, comb and hair accessories<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Magazine, puzzles, novel, notebook and pen<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Christmas novelty item<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Adult box for those who are homeless:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Thermal hat, scarf, gloves and socks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Hand warmers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Insoles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Torch<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Reusable cup, tea, coffee, hot chocolate sachets<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Toiletries, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, lip balm<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Baby wipes, tissues, plasters<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Sanitary products<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Biscuits, sweets and chocolate<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please do not feel that you need to give all or any of these items, any donations will be gratefully received. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There will be a collection box at the front door of the school from<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>18<sup>th<\/sup> November \u2013<\/strong><strong> 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Dec<\/strong><strong>embe<\/strong><strong>r.<\/strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12977 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/mauchlinepsandecc\/files\/2020\/11\/reindeer-pic.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"137\" height=\"127\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Many Thanks,<\/p>\n<p>Miss Black<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are aware that Christmas can be a challenging time for some members of our community.
