Top Tips for Home Learning

See the source image

1.Find a suitable place to work. This should be somewhere quiet to allow you to concentrate.

See the source image

2. Make sure you have everything you need to help you learn. For example pens, pencils, multiplication square.

See the source image

3. Try to stick to a routine– Get up at the same time every day & try not to get in to the habit of sleeping in too late. Make a plan or schedule for each day to help you stay focused. Remember home is NOT school- I do not expect you to be spending the same number of hours on school work as you would in class.

4. It is very important for our mental health that we take time to do the things we enjoy. Take regular breaks and plan in exercise, mindfulness, outdoor time, painting etc.

We will still be randomly choosing a pupil of the day (POTD) every day.
