Welcome back to Cara (senior lead) who has been on maternity leave and ready to swap nappies for paperwork.<\/p>\n

Learning this week has been exploring different types of transport. With only 2 weeks left till the summer break the popular transport that children wanted to explore is the airplane. We have used the promethean board to look at different types of planes. One mode that has also fascinated the children has been the hot air balloon. A 3D creation was made where lots of collaborative working and creativity was shared amongst several children.<\/p>\n

In creative area the children were busy making “special” cards as well as exploring patterns that different vehicles make with their tyres.<\/p>\n

Outdoors, children were exploring textures through a variety of sensory activities such as shaving foam, homemade chalk paint and slime. As well as building on their physical skills with the bikes and scooters.<\/p>\n
