We have a second short survey open, which focusses on parent and carers&#8217; views of students&#8217; experiences in school and our work around values, relationships, learning and student leadership. The survey can be found using the following link:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/Sg8TjDHgYm\">https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/Sg8TjDHgYm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Your feedback is hugely important \u2013 many thanks in advance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S4-6 SUPPORTED STUDY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re heading for the final week of Supported Study for Senior Phase students. We&#8217;ve had great response to these sessions and the timetable can be accessed on the School Website:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/loudounacademy2022\/study-skills\/\">https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/loudounacademy2022\/study-skills\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCHOOL CODE &#8211; BE RESPECTFUL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the last week we have been highlighting the following area of our School Code for &#8216;Be Respectful&#8217;:<\/p>\n<p><u>Listen to and follow staff instruction at all times<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DEMERITS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As you know, earlier in the year we implemented our new Promoting Positive Relationships policy which involved the use of the Demerit system. This was to better track low-level concerns and to highlight these to parents and carers so that young people could be supported to improve their behaviour where this was needed.<\/p>\n<p>We will shortly be reviewing and making changes to how we communicate with parents and carers around these concerns more effectively, with more information to follow at the start of the new term.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>END OF TERM REWARDS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eligible students in S4-6 will take part in a range of activity next Friday, organised by a team of staff. From two film experiences, funfair games and a softball tournament, to swimming, crafts, board games and computer games, it is set to be a really fun day for all involved. Students have selected their activity during PSHE, and these will take place on Friday 4 April 2025 during periods 4-5.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CELEBRATING SUCCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It has been a fantastic term with lots and lots going on inside and indeed outside of school where our young people have achieved in so many different ways. Next week we will share our termly Celebrating Success SWAY newsletter with lots of stories and pictures for parents and carers to enjoy.
