COST OF THE SCHOOL DAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There are a range of supports available to children and young people and their families to ensure there are no financial barriers to education.<\/p>\n

FREE SCHOOL MEALS & CLOTHING GRANT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents and carers can check to see if their child is eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) and\/or Clothing Grant, up to \u00a3175 to help with the cost of School Uniform. You must apply each year and entitlement does not roll over from one year to the next.\u00a0For more information and to apply, please use the following link:<\/p>\n

EDUCATION MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Students staying on to S5\/S6 over the age of sixteen may be entitled to Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) to help support them continuing their education at this stage. EMA is subject to satisfactory attendance at school in full-time education. For more information and to apply, please use the following link:<\/p>\n
