OPTION CHOICE PROCESS FOR 2026-2027<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

February 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Students in S2-S5 will make Option Choices for the next Academic Session, personalising their learner pathway for the year ahead.<\/p>\n

Principal Teachers of Pupil Support and Principal Teachers of Communication Centre will interview all students and issue Option Choice Information including recommended subject choices.<\/p>\n

For S2 and S3 students, this will be based on recommendations from teachers based on latest progress information. For S4 and S5 students this will be based on tracking information in current courses, recent assessment evidence and any previous attainment.<\/p>\n

At all stages, we ask students to have a good idea of what they hope to do in their future after school, so their journey is supporting positive destinations.<\/p>\n

All information to support this process can be found, below.<\/p>\n

Completed Option Choice forms are due for return no later than:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuesday 17th February 2026 for pupils in S4\/5,<\/p>\n

S4 into S5 Option Form<\/a><\/p>\n

S5 into S6 Option Form<\/a><\/p>\n

Tuesday 24th February 2026 for pupils in S2.<\/p>\n
