Literacy

This term we will be learning about the features of non-fiction texts. We will learn about fact and opinion, selecting information, the purpose of texts and skimming and scanning.

Last term, during reading lessons we learned to create and answer literal and inferential questions. Log into Sumdog Grammar to complete ‘January Reading Homework’. This task is to complete questions using the correct question word.

Numeracy 

A January Fluency Booster Competition has been added to Sumdog.

There is also a task named ‘January Measure Homework’ which focusses on measure (length, area and perimeter), this is revision from last term.

PE
