Phonics and Spelling
Activity 1: We are learning to say, read and write the sounds ‘j’ and ‘v’. We are learning to say, read and write the words ‘have’ ‘just’ ‘to’.
- Log into education city. Select “Homework” then “Phonics – j and v” to play the games.
- Practise forming the letters ‘j’ and ‘v’ in your homework jotter.
- Log into Sumdog and play the spelling game “Spelling – 22.2”.
- Practise spelling your common words in your homework jotter.
Reading
Activity 1: We are learning to use the sounds we know to read words.
- Practise reading all of your common words.
- Log into Bug Club and read the book that has been allocated to you.
- Play the Goal game you were given with your homework.
- Play the snake game you were given with your homework.
Maths and numeracy
Activity 1: We are learning to build the number stories of the numbers 2,3,4 and 5.
- Log into Sumdog Maths and complete the practise work “Maths 22.2”.
- Log into Education City select “Homework”, then “Maths 22.2” to play the game.
- Complete the “Five a Day” sheet you were given with your homework.
- Try to make the number stories foo the numbers 2, 3, 4, and 5.
