World War I lasted from 1914-1918. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month marks the signing of the Armistice, on 11th November 1918, to signal the end of World War One. Since World War I ended, every year on 11th November we remember the people in the armed forces who died in battle. This is called Remembrance Day. Yesterday was Remembrance Sunday.
What other information can you find out about The Armistice?

Hello P7! It’s the start of another week … and it’s a brand new month!
I’ve added your homework tasks for the week. Please return your completed tasks to school on Friday morning.
Complete your written tasks neatly in your jotter.
If you have any problems, don’t hesitate to ask for help.
Welcome to our very own P7 blogs. It’s getting darker later in the mornings and earlier in the evenings which means we’re moving into Autumn.
HOMEWORK CHALLENGE: It is also Black History Month. Here are a few questions you should think about, research and discuss with parents/carers as homework. Bring your findings into class to share with your peers.
I’m just trying out this new platform for keeping in contact with all the P7s. Watch out for more information in Term 2!
To support your child and the work we do in the class we are using our blog to continue the learning at home. With links to our favourite learning sites and homework, this is the one place for all our learning needs .
