Today is National Puzzle Day, the perfect day to do a little brain exercise. Whether it’s a crossword, jigsaw, or Sudoku, puzzles engage our brain in more ways than one. Scientists have discovered that when we work on a jigsaw puzzle, we utilise both sides of the brain, improving memory, cognitive function and problem solving skills in the process.

On 22nd  February 1944, an 8 year old boy called Tony Foulds was playing in a Sheffield park with his friends, when he spotted a B17G bomber, ‘Mi Amigo’ carrying 10 U.S. airmen.  In February 2019, Tony helped organise something special for the crew members.  Research the story and write a few paragraphs about your findings.
