Hello and Welcome!<\/p>\n

I just wanted to introduce myself as Miss Mathers and alongside your child and their peers, we make up P7B for this year. We are all looking forward to the year ahead. I thought I would share some information with you.<\/p>\n

Suggested Home Learning (Homework)<\/u><\/p>\n

Home learning tasks will be issued at the start of every month this will take the form of a task grid for learners to complete. Task grids will be supplied in a paper copy and digitally on our class glow page.\u00a0 Your child will be issued with their glow log-in details and a jotter for any written work. Bug-club will have set time in class to complete.<\/p>\n

Home learning will start week beginning Monday 1st September.\u00a0 All task grids will be discussed at the start of the month and any learner can approach myself for any further support. Any learning completed by learners will be shared with the class.<\/p>\n

P.E.<\/u><\/p>\n

Our P.E. days have changed to\u00a0 Thursdays (period 3) and Fridays (period 6). Please ensure that your child has a change of suitable clothing (shorts\/leggings, polo-shirt\/t-shirt and trainers) and jewellery is removed.<\/p>\n

Please ensure that your child has a change of suitable clothing (shorts, polo-shirt\/t-shirt and trainers) and jewellery is removed. Learners will be dismissed at PE doors on a Friday afternoon. We are encouraging everyone in Primary 7 this year to change into PE clothing. This is in preparation for secondary PE routines as this is essential.<\/p>\n

Term 1 Harmony Topic – WW2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our enquiry question is\u00a0\u2018What can we learn from life on the home front?\u2019<\/p>\n

Team 7B are loving the topic so far.\u00a0 We have learned about the outbreak of WW2, who was involved, the home guard and ARP wardens. We watched a theatre production of “What War Was Like” this brought our learning to life. We are looking forward to the end of October when we have a special WW2 day with a visiting museum in school!<\/p>\n

We planned, designed and modelled our own air raid shelters. Here are some photos of the team’s fantastic work.<\/p>\n
