Book Review Template – Book Review
P7M have P.E. on a Tuesday and a Friday. Please send your child to school with a change of clothes/P.E. kit on these days. It would also be appreciated if jewellery could be left at home on these days.
Our focus in Physical Education at the moment on a Tuesday is rugby and on a Friday it is Gymnastics.
Our journey so far . . . .
P7M have been working on lots of exciting learning contexts already this term. We have been looking at Place Value and Rounding in Numeracy, started our class novel Carrie’s War in Literacy and dived into ‘The Home Front’ IDL topic where we have discussed the outbreak of WW2, allies, axis, the home guard and ARP Wardens. We have also considered shading and tone when completing pencil drawings in Expressive Arts.
We have started to investigate how we are connected to Antarctica in our new Interdisciplinary topic. We have already looked at a map of Antarctica and located important landmarks within this icy continent. In Numeracy we are nearing the end of Measurement and will move onto 2D shapes and 3D objects before the Christmas break. In Literacy we are focussing on Report Writing and have enjoyed visiting the campus library on a fortnightly basis, this allows us to read for enjoyment in class if we finish our work.
