All children have been given their usernames, passwords and school codes.\u00a0 These have also been sent home.<\/p>\n

Bug Club can be accessed on:\u00a0https:\/\/www.activelearnprimary.co.uk\/login?c=0<\/a><\/p>\n

Books will be allocated each week.\u00a0 Once the book has been read, you can continue to access it by entering The Library section of Bug Club.\u00a0 This will allow the learner to continue to practice reading and reinforce new sounds and words.\u00a0 Please remind learners to answer the bugs as they read through the book.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n

PE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our PE days are\u00a0Monday and Friday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A gentle reminder that children can not take part in PE wearing earrings.\u00a0 If your child wears earrings, please remove these before school on PE days (Monday and Friday).\u00a0 Alternately; earrings can be taped up but please provide a letter of permission and tape for your child to tape their earrings up.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n

Please find below the October home learning grid.\u00a0 A paper copy of this has also been sent home.\u00a0 You will find a wide range of activities which relate to class learning.\u00a0 On the back, you will find the phonemes, phonic words and common words which your child is learning and practising in class.\u00a0 It is most helpful if you can support with this at home too.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n

The September Home Learning Grid has been sent home.\u00a0 The front gives you different ideas of activities and tasks which link to class learning.\u00a0 The back lists the sounds and words that will be taught and practiced in class.\u00a0 Reinforcing this learning at home will be incredibly helpful too.\u00a0 Thank you.<\/p>\n

\"Scotland<\/p>\n

This month we have Maths Week Scotland.\u00a0 This year’s theme is Maths Matters are we looked at maths all around us.\u00a0 First of all, we became maths detectives and looked for maths all around us – numbers, patterns, shapes etc.\u00a0 Then, we used 2D shapes (linking to class learning) to create tiling patterns as these are all around us too.<\/p>\n

PE<\/strong><\/p>\n

In PE on Friday, we are practicing rugby skills.\u00a0 Here we are practicing a “pocket pass” where we pass the rugby ball sideways.<\/p>\n
