October
In primary 2/3 we have been exploring different feelings in our health and wellbeing. We listened to a story about anxiety and talked about times we may feel anxious. We linked this to our art and design and looked at the painting, “The Scream” by Edvard Munch. We enjoyed creating our own background focusing on the lines and waves of the artist technique. We also enjoyed taking a photo of our own anxious face to complete our artwork. We are very proud of our artwork and decided to display it outside our class.

In P2/3 we enjoyed exploring 2D shapes. We took part in a range of activities including shape hunts outside, Glow worm shapes using torches exploring the properties of 2D shapes and colouring activities. We also explored tessellation and designed our own tiles.
