15.11.24 Children in Need

In our class we supported Children in Need by wearing everything spotty.

We had to read numbers and put the correct number of spots on Pudsey. We made Pudsey using playdough and we coloured in Pudsey and cut him out.

11.11.24 Our reading parents/carers workshop

Our parent/carers came in to participate in different reading activities with us and to learn about Bug Club. We had fun reading words and painting the picture or reading the word and making the item using play dough.

We also looked at the picture, sounded it out and found the letters to spell out the CVC words, then we wrote it.

For our target we had to read the word, spell it into elkinon boxes and then draw it.

11.11.24 Remembrance Day

The children observed the 2 minutes silence for Remembrance Day and then we used chalk pastels to create poppy pictures. Take a look at our amazing art work. We used the pastels and then smudged the colour to create an effect in our artwork.

6.11.24 Missing Numbers

We have been learning to find the missing numbers within 10 and 20.

We have also been learning to write our numerals up to 20.

31.10.24

We have been learning to count out between 10 and 20. We have been talking about the numbers being double digit.

Take a look at our independent counting onto ten frames using spooky spiders!

Hallowe’en fun in our class

We were dooking for apples and decorating our Hallowe’en pumpkin tangerines.
