Woodroad Park Trip
We discovered the many kinds of trees that grow here in Cumnock – wee looked at the leaves on the trees to identify them and thoroughly enjoyed our day in our local park!

We spent some time outside in our playground investigating the different types of trees and patterns we could see.

We have been busy planting some apple seeds in the hope we can grow some apple trees!!

Please see a message on the app about an up and coming outing. As part of our Tree Topic we are going to visit the Woodroad Park. Where we will go on the Woodland walk to identify ‘Native Trees’
This outing will be from playtime until home time on Tuesday 16th September. All pupils will require to wear normal school uniform but bring along appropriate footwear for a ‘forest walk’.
If your child normally receives a free school meal they will be able to order this prior to the trip.
We look forward to a fun trip out in local nature!
