Onwards to #<\/span>Littlemill<\/span><\/span><\/a> Primary, one of our rural schools. It was a pleasure to join the staff and all the school’s pupils exploring #<\/span>Rankinston<\/span><\/span><\/a> and part of the North Kyle Forest. Pupils were proud to show us around their local community to help build ideas for the forthcoming Heritage Trail. Their knowledge and stories were fantastic, members of the community joined us as we walked! So much history – bricks from Littlemill and Annbank Brickworks, a nut from wagons that transported coal and viewing the remains of a lost mining village. Really excited about working with the school and the local community to develop the Heritage Trail Education Pack.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
