Learners working at Early Level may want to use the Story Frame below.\u00a0 Learners working at First Level can expand the story using the<\/p>\n<p>Go for a walk and stop along the way to collect things. If you are outdoors things like leaves, sticks or stones. If you are indoors you could use string, cushions, pegs, pieces of Lego &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Use lots of interesting vocabulary to describe the things you find &#8211; for example,\u00a0 &#8216;these leaves are wet and slippery&#8217;, &#8216;this feels smooth&#8217;,\u00a0 &#8216;that looks look jaggy&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Development:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Using the materials that you have gathered you are going to create a character.\u00a0 Lay the materials on the ground\/floor to make a picture.<\/p>\n<p>Next,\u00a0 talk about the character.\u00a0 &#8216;What is your character&#8217;s name?&#8217; &#8216;Where does the character live?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Together,\u00a0 discuss an adventure or problem your character could be be involved in.\u00a0 Talk about each element of the story in turn.\u00a0 This might be developed into a written or illustrated text.\u00a0 At Early Level. you can draw pictures\/and or write text using the\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/learningoutdoorssupportteam\/uploads\/sites\/11891\/2021\/01\/14081749\/Early-Story-frame-Opening-setting-event-ending.pdf\">Story Frame &#8211; Opening, Setting, Event, Ending.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>At First Level, you could use the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/learningoutdoorssupportteam\/uploads\/sites\/11891\/2020\/12\/13145833\/6-part-story-board.pdf\">6 Part Story Board<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Opening \u2013 Once upon a time &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Setting \u2013 &#8216;Where does the story take place?&#8217; &#8216;What time of year is it in your story?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>A problem or event \u2013 Describe something that happens to the character (perhaps they get lost, organises a party, meets a friend &#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Story ending &#8211; Does the problem get solved?
