The Heritage Hero Award<\/a><\/strong> was launched in 2016.\u00a0 The awards are very accessible and, already, over 12,000 awards have been made\u00a0 in Scotland. Participation in the award aims to encourage learners to connect with, explore and enjoy the past, and to reward their achievement.<\/p>\n The Archaeology Scotland Learning Portal<\/a> includes resources to support heritage learning and a section to support the Heritage Hero Award specifically.\u00a0 The Award can be completed at school, at home and by different groups.
