Build a den for yourself or a toy figure and measure the outside edges of the base of your den.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The perimeter of a 2D shape or object is the total measurement of all its sides added together.\u00a0 To measure the perimeter of a square you would have to measure the length of each side and add the measurements together. \u00a0\u00a0For more information on how to work out a perimeter<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have a measuring tape use a piece of string or rope, pace out the lengths or measure in foot lengths heel to toe.<\/p>\n
